Dear Friends of the Home of The Holy Angels
A picture is worth a thousand words!
I still remember clearly the first time I met Father Charles in 2008, and how over a drink or two he painted a picture that seemed so impossibly phantasmagoric that I thought he was dreaming, and that I had met a real-life George Baxter. At that time, he was taking care of one boy named Joseph; today he has nearly 300 angels under his all-loving arms. He had a vision of an orphanage for children whose parents were victims of Aids. With your help he built that orphanage, and a whole lot more. Virtually cut-off from the Western World, and much of his own country for three years during Covid (2020-2022), he with the never-failing support of God our Father, miraculously managed to bounce back bigger and stronger than ever. His vision has never dimmed.

Consider, in the last 15 years, I repeat, with your unfailing support, Father has built a well-lit orphanage, a primary school, a secondary school, a convent, boy’s and girls’ washrooms and dorms, a football (soccer) pitch and a thriving farm that provides fruits, vegetables and meat for his ever-growing flock. God willing, and as soon as enough workers can be corralled, he will soon add a new kitchen to his complex, which will greatly enhance the capability of providing nutritious meals for his ever-increasing community family. Functioning under a government mandated curriculum that focuses on training in vocational skills, we already have students working on nursing and midwife certificates as well as agriculture, animal husbandry, beadwork, haircare, liquid soap and candle making. Our schools are rated amongst the top ten best in all of Uganda, and in 2024 we will have a number of students enrolled in secondary level seminarian training to make us all proud. Know for sure, children’s dreams are becoming realities. Father Charles, the Home of the Holy Angels, and you his supporters, have a lot to cheer and brag about.
Thanks to the donation of much needed transformers, our schools are now beacons in the wilderness!

Father Charles will once again be visiting Central and South Florida this summer, from June 28 thru August 28, 2024. If you have not had the opportunity to catch his in person contagious spirit, be sure to see him this year, and hear the good news of the Home of the Holy Angels directly from the source. He will be speaking at St Clare Catholic Church in Deltona on July 27-28 and at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Winter Park the following weekend, August 3-4.

On behalf of Father Charles, the board of directors for the Home of the Holy Angels wishes to express his and all his angels’ gratitude for your continued love, prayers and moral support. Wishing you a bounty of God’s blessings.
