COVID-19 Video Message from Fr. Charles

Greetings and blessings to our friends of the Home of the Holy Angels

Dear Friends, in these troubled times we are all taxed and have our own worries here at home, but In Uganda, we are witnessing the work of a superhero who needs our continued support and help in the worst of ways. Father Charles, our hero, is fighting the same battle we all are, but with with limited resources, both financial and due to our remote location. Currently, most of the children are required to stay with temporary foster situations in order to meet the county’s social distancing mandate. However, Father Charles continues to work with the Ministry of Health to determine what can be implemented in order to bring our children back to campus.

His strength, determination and faith are his only weapons to fight a pandemic the likes of which have not been seen in our lifetime.

Below is a short video from Fr. Charles.  We have included it so you can hear directly from him and two of our children, Margaret K. and Juliet N. As you’ll hear from Father, while there are over 50 people in the country of Uganda impacted by the virus, thankfully none of our children have contracted the virus.  Please continue to pray for them, and Father Charles.

Fr. Charles has sent most of the children to be cared for off campus. This will better ensure the health, safety and security of our children.  A small number of children remain on campus with him at The Home of the Holy Angels and they need your help.

We are so thankful for the love and support that you show to Fr. Charles and the children.  May God continue to bless and protect you and your families!
